A Psychedelic Vision
A Psychedelic Vision: A Poetic Reflection
by Steven Fuchs
Colors swirl and shimmer, stars blur and bleed,
As I float untethered in the inky sea.
Reality fades, its cold grip released;
Through the looking glass, my vision’s unleashed.
Infinite space envelops my being,
While psychic strings still keep me from fleeing.
Though Earth remains, its bounds I outpace,
As inner worlds awake, time and space erased.
A narrow plane, a kaleidoscopic prism,
Through which the universe reveals its mysticism.
What once was far now feels close at hand,
In night’s dark womb all secrets stand revealed.
The world anew through vision psychedelic,
Each moment eternal, life panoramic.
What seemed mundane now sacred appears,
In cosmic dance of shimmering spheres.
